Miller-Marlboro boycott ends
Washington, DC, Representatives of ACT UP have called for an end to the national boycott of Miller beer and Marlboro cigarettes at a press conference in New York. Philip Morris Inc., which makes those brands, announced its plan to expand its donations to community based organizations providing AIDS services and education programs.
Male couples were less inclined to monogamy: 26 percent permitted "agreed exceptions" and 11 percent were non-monoga-
mous.
Many partners whose agreements allowed outside sex were sexually exclusive in practice. Outside sex was reported by less than three percent of female partners and 26 percent of male partners. Only 12 percent of all male partners had outside sex
more often than monthly.

Interestingly, men reporting outside sex also had more frequent sex with their partners. In addition, the longer male couples had been together, the more likely they were to report outside sex. Neither of these patterns was observed among women. Mass. G.O.P. courts gays

March on Washington set for April, 1993
At a May meeting in Washington, D.C., more than two hundred lesbian and gay politicos and activists called for a National March on Washington for lesbian and gay civil rights to be held in April of 1993.
The next organizational meeting for the March on Washington will be held in Chicago on August 3-4 at the Allerton Hotel. At that time, the national co-chairs, steering committee and working groups will be established, and a final date for the march will be set. For more information, contact the MOW hotline at 800-832-2889.
Survey: Lesbians are more monogamous than gay men
Gay and lesbian relationships may seem revolutionary by some standards, but most organize their sex lives on the traditional principal of monogamy. In a national survey, 91 percent of female couples were found to be monogamous, as were 63 percent of male couples.
The survey of 1,266 same-sex couples was conducted by Partners Newsletter for Gay & Lesbian Couples.
Of the female couples who were not monogamous, seven percent were "monogamous with agreed exceptions" and three percent were non-monogamous.

"We are not the party of 'special interests'," Lombardi wrote. "That honor we leave to our counterparts across the aisle.
